Suntech has exhibited three core products that meet the mainstream needs of the Korean market: The high-efficiency poly half-cell module adopts mature MBB technology, which can reduce the horizontal propagation path of current by 50%, effectively reduce internal loss, increase module power and reduce the hot spot risk; As for mono half-cell double-glass module, the power output of this module can be increased by up to 25%, which provides customers with options of lower LCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy); the mono half-cell module adopts half-cell design, which can effectively prevent the shade losses. Moreover, due to the optimized circuit design, not only the highest power output is achieved, the reliability of the modules is also ensured, resulting in the improvement of long-term profitability.

Korean market is one of the GW-graded PV markets in the world. However, the barriers to enter the PV market in South Korea are high and the certification process for products takes very long time.
